I'm a proud Southern girl - Greensboro, NC, born and raised. My love affair with radio started over 30 years ago, back when big hair and cassette tapes were still a thing. I earned my radio “stripes” working behind the scenes on the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show. I started as a producer, then leveled up to consultant, helping nearly 100 affiliate producers bring the show to life every day. Somewhere along the way, I snagged the #1 ABC Radio Network Affiliate Award — and picked up a few other honors for my work as a news and entertainment journalist.
